About MyEdukator Real Estate Courses

Real estate education taught in English, Spanish and Portuguese, by a team that has been teaching online since 2008.

What we do

MyEdukator Real Estate Courses teaches the education a real estate professional needs across a whole career: pre-licensing for people entering the profession, post-licensing for those recently licensed, continuing education for every renewal after that, and professional development for the parts of the job no state requires but every agent has to learn.

Every course is online and self-paced. State-approved courses track your time, because the hours are a legal requirement rather than a suggestion, and completions are reported to the relevant state body rather than left to you to chase.

We have been doing this since 2008

Our team has been building and delivering state-approved online courses since 2008, and hundreds of thousands of students have completed them. We are also licensed real estate professionals, active in the industry since 2015, and our professional development courses are written with practitioners working in the areas they cover.

That combination is rarer than it should be. Plenty of education companies understand compliance but have never worked inside the industry they teach. Plenty of working professionals could teach but have never built a course that satisfies a state regulator. Doing both is what lets us write material that is correct and still useful.

Who we teach

Two groups, and they need different things.

Agents working in the United States

Licensing is set state by state, so pre-licensing, post-licensing and continuing education are specific to where you practise. We start with Florida and are adding states.

A large share of the people entering real estate in Florida, and in states like California, Massachusetts, New York and Texas, are more comfortable studying in Spanish or Portuguese than in English. Being required to learn license law in a second language is a barrier that has nothing to do with whether someone will be a good agent. That is a problem we can solve, so we have.

Professionals outside the United States

International buyers are a significant part of the US real estate market, and the agents who serve them are often based somewhere else. A professional in Brazil, Colombia or Mexico who understands how a US transaction works can refer clients to a US agent and earn on the referral, but that only works if they genuinely understand the process they are handing over.

Our professional development courses carry no state license credit and are open to anyone, anywhere. They cover how the US market works, how international transactions differ, and how referral relationships are built and paid. For someone outside the United States, that is often the whole reason to study with us.

We were at CIMI360 in Rio de Janeiro, where real estate professionals from across Latin America meet, for exactly this reason: the demand is real, and it is not being served well.

Why we teach in three languages

Almost every state-approved real estate school teaches in English only. We teach the full catalogue in English, Spanish and Portuguese – not the marketing pages, the courses themselves.

It is the single most expensive decision we have made and the one we would make again. Translating a course properly means translating the law, the terminology and the examples, then keeping all three versions correct as rules change. It would be far cheaper to publish in English and let people manage.

Students choose their study language when they register, and it can be changed afterwards if desired. Completion is reported to the state the same way regardless of which language the course was taken in.

Approvals

MyEdukator is an approved education provider registered with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Florida pre-licensing, post-licensing and continuing education courses require approval from the Florida Real Estate Commission. Approval is granted per course, and each course page shows the approval number and current status for that course.

Professional development courses carry no state license credit in any state, and each of those pages says so. They are skills courses, not regulatory education, and nothing in them counts toward a renewal.
